hi we’re No Rocket Science

Welcome to No Rocket Science

We believe in practical, no-nonsense outdoor fitness solutions that ignite teenagers’ excitement and keep them active. Simple as that.

Outdoor fitness for everyone

We’re a new brand, but we’re not new to outdoor fitness. What do we mean? The No Rocket Science team brings together some of the most innovative and experienced players in the world of outdoor fitness and interactive human-powered play. So why did we decide to start again?

We had a lot of questions that kept us awake at night.
Why do people end up buying poor-quality, fake fitness solutions? Why do so many outdoor fitness solutions look intimidating and off-putting? Why are we making exercise so serious?

We want to show there’s a better way. The best outdoor fitness solutions are fun, inviting, and thoughtfully designed. And therefore accessible for everyone.

Improving teenagers’ well-being

We all know that exercise offers significant benefits for physical and mental health, as well as overall well-being. But getting young people moving isn’t always easy.

60 minutes

The minimum amount of time children and teenagers should be active every day according to the World Health Organization (WHO). And by ‘being active’, we mean accelerated breathing, an increased heart rate, and even sweating.

80%

The number of children and teenagers that don’t do even one hour of physical activity per day. Physical inactivity in young people has become a global health priority, and we need to do something about it.

Here’s what the WHO suggests for teenagers:

Teens should aim for at least 60 minutes of moderate-to-vigorous aerobic activities each day. These activities can include brisk walking, running, swimming, cycling, dancing, or sports like soccer, basketball, or tennis. These activities should make the heart rate and breathing rate increase and contribute to improved cardiovascular fitness.

Teens should include muscle-strengthening activities in their routine at least three days a week. These activities help build and maintain muscle mass. Examples include push-ups, sit-ups, resistance training, and weightlifting (appropriate for their age and skill level).

At least three days a week, teenagers should participate in activities that promote bone health. These activities can include running, jumping, or sports that involve impact on the bones, like basketball or gymnastics.

“It's important for teenagers to find physical activities they enjoy and can sustain over time. Encouraging a variety of activities and sports can help keep exercise fun and engaging.”
